Transfer Speculation
There's been quite a few bits of city news recently. It's been reported that Guidetti is to join FC Twente on a 4 year deal. It's a shame that he could be leaving as he is a promising talent. City are supposedly offering Bolton £20 million plus Boyata and Onouha for Gary Cahill. In my opinion, that deal is just plain ridiculous; not worth it all. City are in pot 3 for CL draw. This means City's toughest draw could be Barcelona, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund, while the easiest might be Porto, Dynamo Kiev and Maccabi Haifa. Arsenal also want Viera back there.....hahahaha. And City are reverting back to the red and black striped kit. Yay!

End Of Season
Today is the end of the season and City secured third position ahead of Arsenal in another successful season. City finished in their highest position in 33 years and it's been a fantastic year for the blues especially winning the FA cup. It's hard to say who's the best player this year: maybe Vinnie Kompany, who's been a rock at the back, or Nigel De Jong, who's been consistent in defensive midfield, or Tevez or bagged in 21 goals, or Joe Hart who has has kept 18 clean sheets

Quiet....for now
There isn't much in the news today regarding City except whether Tevez is going or staying. On Tuesday it was reported that Mancini said that Tev would stay and now apparently Tev has told Argentinean Radio that he needs a change of scenery. Who should we believe? In other news, Javier Pastore wants to leave Palermo which is alerting us, Man U and Liverpool. Pastore is an attacking midfielder and a promising talent.

Here we go again!
It's coming to that time of the year again where we hear all sorts of ridiculous transfer rumours. The blues are apparently going to raid Barcelona for both Iniesta and Xavi. I'd take that rumour with a pinch of salt. There's no chance that Guardiola would want these two maestros to leave the Bernabeu. Today I've seen another rumour flying about that City plan to get Cristiano Ronaldo. Utter tosh? I'd say so. It was reported today that Khaldoon Al Mubarak wants to curb City's transfer spree this summer and suggested 2 or 3 players will be bought to strengthen the squad

City Smash Stoke 3 - 0
Two great goals from Tevez and Lescott ended City's home games which has capped a great season for the Blues. All we need now is to beat Bolton at the weekend to claim 3rd place. Tevez's freekick was beautiful: a bending freekick from 30 yards out. The display of football was one of the best of the season. Mancini says that Tevez is staying, we need him, he's a great talisman

End Of The Season Approaching....
There hasn't been much in the news recently except that City can secure 3rd place over Arsenal by beating Stoke tonight and Bolton on Sunday. One piece of news that made me happy was that Balotelli has pledged his future and wants more silverware. This talent is maturing and the media over-exaggerates the stories because they have nothing else to talk about but on the other hand how many times have we heard stories like this: someone pledging their future on a Monday and handing in a transfer request on a Thursday. Also, Richards and Balotelli aren't to be charged by the FA for swearing in the post-match interviews.....credit goes to David Bernstein for that. And FINALLY, United have removed the '35' years banner at Old Trafford

FA Cup Winners 2011
Wow. Just wow. For the first time since 1976, Manchester City have won a major trophy in English football. To the long supporting City fans, 35 years is a long wait and yesterday the Blues fulfilled every Manchester City fan's dream by beating Stoke City (1-0) at Wembley stadium. This years process for City to reach the final has been a long haul: 2 matches plus replays against Leicester and Notts County, a comfortable win against Aston Villa, a tight match against Reading, a glorious victory against arch rivals Manchester United and a fantabulous win in the final against Stoke City. It was all City in the first half as Thomas Sorensen denied Ballotelli and Tevez efforts while David Silva missed a complete sitter. There was just one shot on goal for the Potters which was closed down by Joe Hart. It all ended at 75 mins when Yaya Toure took advantage of a pinball situation in the box and smashed in the winner. It was a great day for all Manchester City fans and the long wait for all of us is finally over.
